It only works as a coalition.
humanaligned.org holds the open standard and the field-level work. We are not the owner of the outcome. We are the steward of a shared frame, held wide enough that the people already shaping a region can see themselves inside it and find a real mechanism: a baseline, an improvement, and the evidence it moved. As far as we can see, no one is yet holding this frame as a public good in the way this moment asks for. That gap is the work.
Four roles, presented as an invitation, not as relationships already secured.
Civic and regional bodies
Convene the table. Lend the credibility of a trusted regional voice. Help the region claim the standard and connect it to the appetite already forming for AI that serves the public good.
Research and analysis
Ground the standard in rigor. Co-produce the evidence base. Validate it as it scales.
Health systems and employers
Adopt the baseline. Connect it to outcomes they already measure. Become the first proof.
Civic media and narrative
Tell the regional story. Make an invisible condition legible to the public it serves.
We are convening this coalition now, in the Bay Area, where one of the densest concentrations of AI builders sits alongside civic infrastructure that can move. If you hold one of these roles, we would value a conversation.
